Coming to the Gate of Babylon

Perhaps you are as tired as we are of the controlled messaging on issues of our day through legacy and on-line media influenced by powerful personalities in government, industry, technology, science, education and entertainment.

Maybe you don’t appreciate being pressured to involuntarily agree and conform with positions you know are contrived or false: sometimes we acquiesce because we don’t want to bring negative attention to ourselves with open resistance.

Or you would just like to know that you are not “crazy” if you disagree with ideas that are wrong and harmful; that you are not alone in seeing through the fog and smoke shrouding the insane ideas and actions of our time.

Many are coming to terms with a modern version of an ancient concept: “Babylon,” which in antiquity was the location named and known for being a source of great confusion. In the past 15 years or so, there have been introduced to our Western societies so many new life concepts that seem to defy all reason and have produced confusion of Babylonish proportions.

“Babylon” may also be from the Akkadian word bab-ilani, or “gate of the gods,” named such because it was where the gods of antiquity met with humans to direct their lives on earth. It seems that we have among us modern day “gods” who are similarly summoning us to their “gate” to dictate their direction on how we are to think, speak and act.

We are summoned by these new “gods” to accept increasingly immoral values and overt criminal behaviours that are completely divergent to those our Western nations were founded upon. There exists a Media Collective spanning multiple nations that collaborates to present ideas and events to mass audiences with extreme bias for favoured narratives. Evil is presented as good and good is presented as evil, depending on monetary advantage and entertainment value.

What we once had in common: the traditional family structure, the rules of decent behaviour within our community, the real pride in our nation’s formation and accomplishments – the belief that God established and gifted those to us – are held in disdain and mocked.

What is important now is what rewards those who embrace modern ideas that disassemble the ideals of the past: concepts like ESG (Environmental Activism, Social Justice, Governance), DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) and the all-important “virtue signalling” to ensure that every popular cause, right or wrong, is supported to keep hold of the reins of influence and power among us.

And if we dare to not comply with the ideas and philosophies that are destroying our families, our communities and our nations, we are silenced and penalized as rebellious and uncooperative. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms in Canada and the Bill of Rights in the United States have, in effect, been rendered impotent and obsolete by our Government and Justice systems.

Worse, the narrative being formed for this new societal structure is aggressively furthered by almost all media, institutions and corporations. This Babylon of our making forces us to its “gate” for dictates in just about every area of life. We are not just supposed to come to its gate, but we must learn to think, speak and behave in accordance with the new gods that reside there.

In the last book of the Holy Bible, is found an instruction that seems to have been lost with the passing of time, and those who are aware of it, cannot or will not heed in our anti-God environment – Revelation 18:1-4:

“After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become the habitation of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!

“’For all the nations have drunk of the wine of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.’

“And I heard another voice from heaven saying, ‘Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues…”

May we assure you that we are not “crazy?!” We are just able to understand what is good and evil, moral and immoral, constructive and destructive! Don’t give into the pressure of dutifully attending Babylon’s entrance “gate” to be dictated to: just quietly and firmly determine to leave!
